I am currently a PhD candidate in the Department of Environmental Science, Policy, and Management at UC Berkeley. I am co-advised by Dr. Kip Will and Dr. Patrick O’Grady at Cornell University. For my dissertation I am investigating the phylogenomics, metagenomics and diversification of bee flies (Bombyliidae). I am also interested in the taxonomy and species delimitation of bee fly genera. In my spare time I like to paint, leather craft, hike and spend time with my dog.
